We are told true love is like that. Often instant. Always everlasting. One a being on Earth, another from the sky and yet, a simple strike of lightning on a tree is enough for it to catches fire or break.
Either total encapsulation or utter destruction.
No and. Certainly no in between. And yet, for an emotion so sharp and drastic in extremes, it requires tender, thoughtful care to keep from fizzling out like a matchstick in a storm.
